About us...

The Blue Water Miniature Horse Club is based in eastern lower Michigan. It was created for the purpose of promoting knowledge and awareness of the Miniature Horse. The club was founded in the late 1980's and has grown along with the enormous popularity of the breed. 

We typically have members throughout the state of  Michigan, across the U.S., and in Canada. Anyone who shares our love of the Miniature Horse is invited to join us! See our Membership page for more information about joining our club!

Our shows...

Our annual Blue Water Miniature Horse Club Jubilee is an American Miniature Horse Association (AMHR) sanctioned show. This show is professionally run by a AMHR certified show management company. Miniature Horses exhibited at our Jubilee show must comply with all AMHR rules. Except for a few non-rated (open) classes, Miniature Horses must be registered with the AMHR. Our Blue Water Miniature Horse Club Jubilee Show is the highlight of our year and a necessary step to qualify to exhibit at the AMHR Nationals in Tulsa, OK. We often host informational clinics with professional-level presenters, such as carded judges, professional grooms, veterinarians, and very knowledgeable club members. Our clinics are informative, fun, and include lots of participation! We welcome visitors, groups, 4-H clubs, etc., to attend. See our Events page for more information.​​
